We hope to find everyone doing well during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your health and safety are our number one priority at Family 1st Dental. It is encouraged to stay at home unless you have to go out for food or to the doctor, please take it seriously so we can all get past this safely.
Our original date to reopen was Monday, April 13th, as you can probably guess that has changed. As of now, the office will reopen on Monday, April 20th unless the CDC and the ADA change the date again. If you have a scheduled appointment prior to April 20th please watch your text to be rescheduled. Please, respond to the text as there are a lot of patients to reschedule and if you don't respond you may not get a time you would prefer. Please also be aware that you may not get the same time as you had already set as there are some appointments already on the schedule from 6-8 months ago, we will try our very best to get a time that works for your schedule.
If you have a dental emergency, that means extreme trauma or pain that can not be managed, call the office and leave a message. You will get a call and a time will be scheduled to meet at the office. If you have to come to the office please only have the patient in the office, limiting how many people are in the office only helps reduce the spread of the virus.
Any patient that has any symptom of even a cold will not be seen at this time to keep everyone safe.
If you have a filling out it is not an emergency, if we see you there will be absolutely no drilling, only a temporary filling will be placed and you will be scheduled on a later date to place a final restoration.
Sometimes it's hard to determine what is and isn't a dental emergency, if you are unsure call the office and we can help figure out if it is or not and get you appointed if need be.
Thank you all for your understanding during this time.
Take this time to spend quality time with your family and enjoy some sunshine.
We wish everyone wellness and safety during this time and look forward to seeing you soon.
